When we first started out and thought of the name KAPZ - it was available as a .co.uk but the .com had already been taken - we had no idea how important it would become - but we were happy with the .co.uk domain for our new venture.

Having identified the owner of the .com in 2012 - over the next few years we tried and tried to make contact without any success . . . and then one day, out of the blue, he contacted us asking if we wanted to buy it . . . obviously we said YES.

He was a really pleasant guy from America and we chatted on the phone, talked about how and when and money - we came to an agreement and he was trusting enough to just transfer the domain over while at the same time, we sent him the money - no drama - no fuss and on the 15th of February 2016 - we became a .com business.

Fast forward to 2026 - we have delivered KAPZ products all over the world and now over 60% of our orders come from outside of the UK - so the .com really describes our global reach!
